Prolyte CLT XL at Glamis Castle for 2012 Proms

The large 16m x 14m Prolyte CLT XL Roof Stage system has been in action for the second year running for the Glamis Castle Proms. The event took place last weekend, and was a huge success, featuring a performance from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and a spectacular fireworks display.

IPS supplied the large scale outdoor roof system, complete with PA wings constructed on a Layher base structure. With a considerable stage area of 25m by 14m, the Layher platform provided all the space that was required for the show and with a 10000kg roof loading and 9m trim height, providing lots of rigging options. The entire structure was built by a crew of 8 over two days, and all the equipment just squeezed onto two articulated trucks! IPS also supplied and installed Prolyte RTH-30V 7.5m rigging towers for the delay element of the PA system.
