Prolyte-CLT-XLWe are ready to assist with any staging, rigging or technical requirements over the summer – hopefully the sunshine will last, but if not we are equally adept at working in the traditional UK summer rain, hail, sleet…!

IPS has a wide range of Outdoor Structures, Staging Platforms, Rigging Equipment, Lighting & Sound Equipment and all the cabling and distribution to make everything work for your event. From a small platform for a village fete to a large scale festival stage for an audience of thousands, we have the equipment to supply your requirements.

If you are organising an event, and know what size stage you are after, then check out our range here. If you need any more information, then please contact us to discuss your next event.

We have lots of different options for our stage structures, so if you are hosting a music event, festival or battle of the bands event, we can supply side wings or cowsheds for most of our structures to give more space for quick turn rounds. We can also supply stage extensions, catwalks, or linked B stage platforms if your act want to stretch their legs and get into the crowd! We also stock rolling risers, to speed up backline changeovers. If you have a choir performing, we can supply structures with tiered staging to make sure everyone can be seen- or alternatively if you are using a stage as a viewing platform, will ensure that all the audience can see the action.

Outdoor Roof Stages

The IPS range of covered Outdoor Roof Stages includes compact structures like the Mini Stage, which at just under 5m x 5m is ideal for a small Band, or as a DJ or presenter stage. If you need something a bit larger, the Prolyte 8m x 6m Arc Roof is one of our most popular stages, with a stage area suitable for a range of different events. A recent addition to our range is a bigger version of the Arc, with a 10m x 8m footprint. The curved appearance of these structures means they are visually appealing, as we as offering many different rigging load configurations. If your event is a bit larger, or if you have larger orchestras or acts with lots of performers, the two bigger structures in the IPS range are the Prolyte 12m x 10m MPT and the Prolyte 16m x 14m CLT XL. Available with or without PA wings for additional stage presence, these large sized structures will take your event to the next level.

If you are thinking about booking an Outdoor Stage for an event, there are a few questions that we will need answering to provide a quotation. If you already have the details for the below checklist to hand, that would be a great help:

  • Name of Structure to be installed (e.g Prolyte 12m x 10m MPT)
  • Dates - Installation and Removal of Stucture, as well as Event Dates
  • Event Location - Address Details for the event- including a postcode if possible to allow us to provide accurate trucking costs
  • Ground Surface Details - Although we can work on almost any surface type, we need to know if it is hardstanding (e.g a carpark) or grass/mud (e.g a park or field). We also need to know roughly how level the ground is, eg if it is as level as a cricket pitch, or on a slope or over an obstacle
  • Ballast - The structures also require ballast weight to secure the structures in the wind, which will either be in the form or ground anchors which will be driven into the ground (in which case we will need permission and confirmation that no services are within 800mm of the ground surface) or we can provide water tanks (in which case we will require access to a suitable water supply, and permission to drain the tanks after the event) or we can provide concrete blocks (which may have transport implications)
  • Site Access - Depending on the structure chosen, we will need access and parking for a truck to the build site. Details of any restrictions would be useful, as depending on the structure this could be anything from a van to an articulated lorry
  • Power - For the MPT & CLT stages, three phase power is required to operate the motors to raise the roof. This can either be supplied onsite, or we can quote to supply a generator with the structure.

If you are unsure about any of the above details, we are happy to arrange a site visit to discuss your requirements in more detail. However, if you are just after an idea of price, if these details are avaliable then we can provide a more accurate quotation.

If you don’t need a covered stage, and just need a platform- or are putting on an event in a marquee and want to add a stage for a band, or to raised up a top table for a wedding, then we can help! We can supply raised platforms from 3’x2’ in size, to almost any size you could need. We have built stages and floors over walls and flowerbeds, and even an empty swimming pool- and much more besides. If you have a van or trailer and want to collect the parts and build the stage yourself that is fine, or alternatively we can deliver the parts to your venue for you to build – or we can supply and install before your event, and then take everything away again afterwards. Please get in touch for more details.

Whatever the weather this summer, all the team at IPS wish you all the best for your events, and look forward to helping with any staging, rigging, lighting, sound or power requirements.
