IPS has an expanded range of motors in stock now, including 500kg & 1000kg CM Lodestar units.
The new range of motors also brings with them a more versatile range of control options, as they are low voltage control models. These sit alongside the existing inventory of 1000kg Prolyft direct control motors, and the compact 250kg Prostars.
The 500kg & 1000kg Lodestar motors are from CM, and are all double braked units. They are fitted with heavy duty CM chain with a lifting height of 20m. They are flight cased individually, and are in stock now, ready for your next event. The units stocked by IPS are all low voltage control versions, which makes them ideal for many applications – from single motor to a more complicated multiple point rig. The 500kg size is a new addition to the IPS range, and has already proved to be a very useful option.
Kinesys DigiHoist controllers are also now in stock at IPS. This 8 way rack mountable model offers a range of scalable control options for the new low voltage motors. Multiple units can be linked together to provide up to control for larger systems – expandable up to 96 ways in total. IPS now have 8 & 16 way remote controls in stock, along with single motor pickles for individual adjustments. The DigiHoist controllers features include automatic phase reversal correction, individual MCB protection for each pair of hoists, self-healing emergency stop controls (no more having to run back to the main unit to reset!) and permanent and switched power modes to allow simple integration of local pickles as required.
The IPS Prolyft 1000kg motor stock is also still going strong, with the entire fleet recently back from servicing at Prolyte’s HQ in the Netherlands. The robust Prolyft units are available with either 18m or 27m chains. Operated by direct control, IPS stocks a range of control options including units from Outboard Electronics and Prolyte. The PVC rain covers for these units mean that they still support the majority of the IPS roof systems throughout the summer, and are ideal for use with our Prolyte RTH-30V Rigging Towers to support PA systems.
The compact 250kg Prostars from CM are also a mainstay of the IPS motor stock, with a large stockholding and a 12m height of lift, this versatile hoist is ideal for applications where space is at a premium. The ability to be suspended within Prolyte H40V truss further adds to this motor’s appeal. The IPS Prostars are direct control, and share the range of control options as available for the Prolyte motor range.
As with all stock lines at IPS, there is also a large range of accessories available. Shackles, slings, steels, masterlinks, thousands of metres of truss and all sorts of clamps and adaptors are ready on the shelf. Various cabling options are also available, including Socapex break in and out adaptors for direct control and low voltage control systems – and of course a full range of staging, rigging, lighting, sound and power distribution equipment.
