Pinterest-Logo-IPSWe now have a page on pinterest, with loads of images of IPS equipment in action....

Pinterest is basically an online pinboard, where collections of images can be gathered from all around the web. Contributors create webpages called boards with a common subject, and linked images can be seen as a collection. The IPS page currently has boards for Roof Stages, Equipment on Hire, Scenes from the warehouse, and another board with some collated ideas of event, set, lighting and staging designs that have looked interesting. There will be more images added over the coming months – keep an eye out for regular updates.

The roof stage photo board has images from a range of events over the last few years. It shows some of the many different configurations that have been built for the roof systems – some entirely standard, and some a lot more complicated!

The ‘Equipment on Hire’ board contains photos of IPS equipment in use from a variety of events. These are mainly other events that have used IPS equipment. If you have a photo of some of our kit being used, and would like to see it on here then send it in to us, or send us a link, and we’ll add it to the collection.

IPS-Pinterest-Web-ScreenshotThe ‘IPS at home’ board has photos of equipment being prepared at the IPS warehouse, as well as various shots of things that happen at IPS HQ. This doesn’t sound like the most exciting photo subject, but hopefully this will be an interesting insight.

Last but certainly not least is the ‘Lighting & Set Ideas’ board. This is a collection of photos from trade press and websites with things that have caught our eye. There is a range of set, lighting and design ideas – ranging from simple but effective looks for a show, through to some seriously involved concepts. This is something that will also hopefully develop over time, so if you need some inspiration for a show or set design, it may be worth a look.

If you are on pinterest, then you can follow our boards, or just check out the page every now and again by following this link http://www.pinterest.com/ips_impact/
