Pyro
December has been a particularly busy month, with additional Le Maitre Pyroflash systems added to meet demands from our panto customers (oh yes we have!) and more small theatrical flash orders placed than you would believe possible! Also added to the bulging IPS warehouse are further channel 38 radio mic systems, from Sennheiser and Shure, alongside further Studio Due City Colour IP rated 2500w fixtures.

Aside from the theatres, IPS have also been busy supporting corporate events in Milton Keynes and Chester, supplying Sound and Lighting equipment for University Christmas Balls, and working on more West End Film Premieres, including Jack Reacher, Les Miserables and The Rise of the Guardians to name but a few. Hundreds of metres of Prolyte Trussing have been used for the film premieres, along with a wide range of lighting fixtures. For the Jack Reacher Premiere, IPS supplied a Layher structure to support huge letters spelling out the name of the film, uplit with Pixel Track Pro LED fixtures, and backlit with MAC 250 Beams, MAC 700s, MAC 2000s, City Colours and a load of Martin Atomic Strobes.

Jack-Reacher-PremiereWe are getting ready for Christmas now, and working on jobs for January and beyond, and summer bookings for our Outdoor Stages picking up pace.  There are still a few Christmas concerts with multi level stage platforms, and a 12m x 10m Roof System off to Scotland for New Year’s Eve still to go, but we are already looking forward to a busy 2013.
